GENERATION & REFINEMENT
Bringing my ideas to life starts with Midjourney, an advanced AI program that transforms text prompts into visual art
Here are a selection of images generated as I began creating The Speakeasy subjects in Midjourney.
While there is an aura of the disco era, I wanted more influence from the Roaring Twenties in terms of styling and fashion. I also want to expand the image, utilizing more background space.

focusing on emerald green and adjacent shades, and the resulting grid of options is much better.
From here, I choose the best of the grid. I then run a new job using my pick as a baseline to build from.

I chose this image particularly due to the level of detail throughout. after post production edits, it became a central subject, embodying The Speakeasy within the Greatstock world.

After experimenting with various prompts and generating more images, I move closer to the look I’m aiming for. The fashion and style now align more closely with the overall aesthetic.
At this point, I want to focus specifically on a color that embodies the luxury synonymous with Art Deco.

The resulting four options are exactly what I’m looking for in terms of raw images for the series. The overall look is ethereal, as well as interesting in terms of lighting and composItion.
Each tweak is a step closer to achieving a cohesive look across the series, ensuring every image not only stands out on its own but also complements the collection as a whole

This stage is all about experimentation—mixing and matching prompts to capture the precise essence of my vision.
The goal is to generate a variety of raw images that align with my initial concept. Once I have a solid start in terms of
prompts that produce the results
I’m looking for, I refine.
I meticulously adjust colors, styles, and backgrounds to introduce variety and depth. It’s a process marked by trial and error, running countless iterations to nail down the perfect style, especially when aiming for photorealistic imagery.
This phase is crucial, as it lays the foundational imagery that will undergo further refinement.
ITERATION 2
The final leg of my process takes place in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop,
where I address any imperfections and enhance the series’ overall coherence
Depending on the project’s needs, I might upscale images or create AI-generated video clips to add life to my artwork
